Sculpting Steel General Question

If Sculpting Steel entered as Prototype Portal and Prototype Portal already had a card underneath it on the field what would happen? Would you still be able to exile a card from your hand or would it just be on the field with no exiled cards under it?

Sculpting Steel enters the battlefield as a copy of the chosen artifact. This means any inherited ETB abilities will trigger. The Sculpting Steel 's new imprint ability will trigger when Sculpting Steel enters the battlefield.
