NEW PHYREXIA HAS WON THE WAR.
Wizards has actually done an amazing job from keeping infect off of dominating standard. When Jace cycles out, who knows really, it all depends on M12. But it's good they've done just enough to make it interesting and get a devoted following. Like I said before there will be very little infect in NPH. I do, however, expect and DEMAND to get some support for infect. Sorry if I am rezzing and older part of the topic, but for those of us who know more than one language, the biggest problem with Phyrexian is the direct and literal translation... =/ It is a unique mechanic, the problem is in cards like Blightsteel Colossus. People cheat it out turn 4 with Shape Anew and considering you're playing on a 10-life clock against infect, there's no real response besides cheap, fast exile which you have to play on your next turn and without it getting countered. Sometimes it's just not fun to play against pure infect. I think the most unique part of it currently is the fact there is no counter, or rather reversal for it currently legal in Standard (in fact the only card was Leeches
i believe) So perhaps, they will bring back something to remove said poison counters? I think the most unique part of it currently is the fact there is no counter, or rather reversal for it currently legal in Standard (in fact the only card was Leeches

It seems we might have phrexian lands with the symbol in the mana costs. Enemy dual lands perhaps? Here are the cards if anyone is interested: http://forums.mtgsalvation.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=116584&d=1301914770 http://forums.mtgsalvation.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=116585&d=1301914770 http://forums.mtgsalvation.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=116586&d=1301914770 And the forum thread linked by yank has some translations. my infect deck has a very easy way of dealing with blightsteel colossus in the sideboard. Err, wrong comment popeyroach? Also, picture of Karn (not sure how to put in images) http://oi52.tinypic.com/bijszp.jpg All of the newly revealed cards are AMAZING. People can hate the block as much as they like, the new cards ooze flavor. Karn is what a mythic should be, an incredibly hefty monster than can decimate games. Urabrask, the Hidden 3RR Legendary Creature - Praetor Creatures you control have Haste.Creatures your opponents control enter the battlefield tapped.Illus. Brad Righey #98/175 4/4 http://forums.mtgsalvation.com/showthread.php?t=312932 Dude this is ridiculous. Now to go along with the titans we have the chancellors that cost one more. Example: Chancellor of the Dross 4BBB Creature - Vampire If ~ is in your opening hand, you may reveal it. If you do, at the beginning of your first upkeep, you may have each opponent lose 3 life. Gain life equal to the life lost this way.Flying, LifelinkIllus. Stephan Martiniere #54/175 6/6 ~Chancellor of the Furnace 4RRR Creature - Giant If ~ is in your opening hand, you may reveal it. If you do, at the beginning of your first turn's upkeep, you may put a 1/1 red Goblin creature token with haste onto the battlefield. When Chancellor of the Furnace enters the battlefield, put X 1/1 red Goblin creatures with haste onto the battlefield, where X is the number of creatures you control.Illus. Chippy #85/175 5/5 THIS IS COOL! ~Hex Parasite 1 Artifact Creature - Insect xPB: Target a permanent. Remove up to X counters from that permanent. ~ gains +1/+0 until end of turn for each counter removed this way.(PB may be paid for with either or 2 life.)Illus. Raymond Swanland #137/175 1/1 Puresteel Paladin WW Creature - Human Knight (Rare) Whenever an Equipment enters the battlefield under your control, you may draw a card.Metalcraft - As long as you control 3 or more artifacts, equip costs of equipment you control is 0. 2/2 http://www.rarityguide.com/forums/magic-gathering-mtg/15459591-japanese-new-phyrexia-cards-spoiler-including-karn-released-karn-liberated.html If that one is true that is going into every ww quest deck there is and that is just sick! when i first saw the artwork for what is now puresteel i said, "i wanna know what THAT card does" that could be one of my favorites so far.

infect will be around for a while, dont cry yourself to sleep. what im sad to see go is worldwake. worldwake green in particular. Leatherback Baloth , [terra stomper]], and Joraga Warcaller were perhaps the best green cards ever made!
