discussions? i personally really like archangel of thune. new bomb for soul sisters?
Black is looking the strongest so far with grim return and Liliana's reaver but i think that whole shadowborn thing looks a little too gimicky. I'd say my favorite is savage summoning, it should be in any green decks sideboard no matter what format. Hope they put out some solid lands in this set, maybe some type of manlands, that'd be cool :)

Oh don't get me wrong; the Shadowborn thing IS gimmicky. That's why I like it. You wouldn't really expect a deck filled with mostly one-drops that you need six of around to work, did you? One Slaughter Games is all it takes to knock it dead, but it's a fun casual deck nonetheless.

That green enchantment is going to make green midrange decks so good... assuming enchantments are still not used enough to run hate against them...
As for the Thune angel I think she's a couple cmc too expensive to be good in modern soul sisters, she would have been godly as a 2 cmc 0/2 with those abilities (maybe even strong enough as a 0/1). As a card that can only start to get good on turn 6 and only if you do something to gain life on it doesn't seem like it'll matter in a soul sister's usual game plan.

The few months Primeval bounty and Thragtusk are around could possibly make standard a long grindy event during those few months.

I like mostly all the black stuff, primarily Grim Return and Rise of the Dark Realms (necromancy time!) and the possibility of a 15-land Shadowborn Apostle deck.
I like how much Awaken The Ancient is trying to push enchantments. "Please play them competitively, it's a 7/7 haste on turn 5 or earlier. Please, you'll only get 3-for-1-ed of your opponent casts Ultimate Price on it!"
Prmieval Bounty is our attempt at a Thragtusk replacement, and possibly more balanced what with it not being able to attack, block or provide resources for you on its own; it needs other spells, and the right ones for the situation.
