Have Masters Sets Been Discontinued?

I saw this post, and I am wondering if masters set have been discontinued, or merely put on a hiatus, since those were great sets for reprinting cards.
What does everyone else say, about this? Have masters sets been discontinued, or merely put on hiatus? I certainly am eager to receive your feedback, on this matter!

RiotRunner789, that is a most horrible decision, indeed, and I am very displeased that enough employees of WotC preferred Universes Beyond over Masters sets to make that a reality, so I hope that WotC shall change that decision, at some point, soon.

I don't think it was enough employees at WOTC that wanted UB over Masters is what led to the change. WOTC, being owned by Hasbro and not their employees, probably means upper WOTC management or direction from Hasbro forced the change (because of profits).
Though, I do not actually know their exact chain of command or behind the scenes decision making process.

WOTC mentioned a while ago that masters sets were going away, I imagine to fit more Universe Beyond.
This isn't the first time they've been shelved. My guess is they'll be back once we dial back from UB.
