Haste and tapping creatures

I'm working on a reanimate deck and I'm wondering if I am able to use creatures with summoning sickness for Gravespawn Sovereign 's effect. I know it prevents creatures from using their own tap abilities, but wasn't sure if stopped to other creatures effects as well.

Summoning sickness only prevents creatures from doing two things: attacking and having an ability activated with the tap or untap symbol in its activation cost. Since Gravespawn Sovereign 's ability doesn't require any of those things, you can tap summoning sick creatures to pay for its activation cost.
