Gyre Sage Question?

this is probably a stupid question but i just want to be sure but would Illusionist's Bracers allow me to double the amount of mana that Gyre Sage produces? say gyre sage is a 6/7 normally i would be able to tap him for 5 mana but if he is equipped with illusionsts bracers would i tap him for 10 mana?
Erabel is correct. Since the Bracers specifically say it cannot copy mana abilities, this won't work.
For reference: A mana ability is any ability that doesn't target, has potential to add mana to your mana pool, and isn't a loyalty ability.

No; Gyre Sage 's ability is a mana ability. It can't be duplicated by Illusionist's Bracers .
