fat packs?

how many cards (unsleeved) does a fat pack box hold
i didnt even think of putting them down the sides haha. i have roughly 4 full just wondering if they would all fit in a holiday box but those only hold 2000 so id fill it up

Most LGS should sell larger card boxes and they are usually dirt cheap. You can get a couple shoebox or super shoebox for a couple bucks. Alternatively, purging is also helpful for getting a collection into a more managable state. You don't really need to hold on to a bunch of copies of say Gutter Skulk . Keep 4 if you want and then donate the rest, most LGS will also have a donation or free box for new players to find cards.

Wow I need to tell my friend to seriously re-evaluate his collection if you are telling a guy with 4 total Fat Pack boxes to purge because he has too many cards. He has 4 Fat Pack boxes per color.

I am sitting on at least 6k cards haha I'm not doing anything with them though, they are just sitting on the floor

Honestly the holiday gift boxes are the best deal, you get 4 booster packs of the latest set, and a promo card plus the storage space which is over 2k cards all for 20 bucks

1000ct boxes are like 50 cents, I'm not sure I'd call that the "best deal" when it's basically 5 dollars a pack.

LOL i had this friend that cared about quantity, not quality so i would give him 100 or so junk commmons and uncommons for like a Chandra, the Firebrand or Garruk Wildspeaker . it was so funny XP

As long as you let him know the value of the cards you were trading, it's fine. And Chandra, the Firebrand and Garruk Wildspeaker aren't worth much, anyway.

i had a friend like that he would pick up my box of commons before my binder haha he sit there and add up 20 cent cards until he got to 20 dollars value. it was really annoying too haha.he knew what he was doing and i even tried to tell him too.

Around 500-600 cards give or take. More if you cram some sideways along the side as well.
