kill planes walkers?

I was listening to the pro tour and one of the announcers said it is possible. is that true? Is it because planes walkers count as players?

You can deal damage to the player through Boros Charm. Then you have the option to redirect the damage to the planeswalker. This is a natural response. In fact, that's how you can Searing Spear or Lightning Bolt on a planeswalker. It actually isn't a viable target, but you can redirect it towards them.
Pro-tip: Witchbane Orb means you can't hit planeswalkers with burn spells. _

Yes. Also this is supposed to go in the Q&A section or maybe in Standard. Definitely not in General.
