Shipping internationally?

I sell a lot of cards an eBay, but not outside of the United States yet. Does anyone have experience? I’m wondering how risky it is if I don’t get tracking on the shipment.

As a buyer of Magic cards from eBay and being Australian, I have to say that I generally avoid anything from the US. Given that shipping is between $25 and $50 AUD for even single card orders, unless I'm buying something worth hundreds of dollars (that I can't find from an Australian seller) I will outright ignore US sellers - It's just not worth it.

Can't speak to countries closer to the US however this has been my experience.

In my situation someone from Italy is asking me to ship there.

If the price of the card can justify shipping (as in you're sending a $400 USD card then $40 in shipping) the it's probably fine. But if 25 to 50 percent of the total cost is shipping I would recommend that you recommend they go to a local supplier.

At the end of the day though, if you're concerned then just make your blanket policy that you use tracked shipping and go from there. And who knows, shipping might be cheaper to Europe. I'm sure you can find a shipping calculator online that will give you an idea on price.

Idk much aside from Italy's postal service is a nightmare. I wouldn't ship there.
