Alright, so I'm planning on buying at least a couple of these for a Temur Midrange that I'm building, my question is, will they keep most of their value once they rotate out? I know they're going to drop some right away, but from my knowledge they see enough play in Modern, but I don't know for sure. Will I lose big if I buy them or will I be able to make back some of my money once they're no longer usable?
Ohh I am going to buy them, for sure. They are going to help out my deck a lot. I'm just wondering if they're going to keep their value well or if I should try and get rid of them before the price drops when they rotate

They're not that widely played in Modern. I don't expect them to be more than about $5. If you can get rid of them before they drop unless you really need them for a specific Modern deck. If you plan to keep them because "they see Modern play," don't.

Strange, i thought they saw play in several variants of Gxsomething, but ohh well, there's my lack of knowledge about modern. I'll probably keep one I buy for an EDH deck that I'm going to build, but sell the rest before they rotate out, Thanks.

They are played as a 2-3 of in Modern Junk and Jund but after rotation won't retain more than $5 however the foils will hold good value.

They won't be as high as they are now. Modern decks play at most 3 copies of Courser, and that too only in BGx midrange decks and 1 in some Abzan Pod decks. Not worth the investment.

Well honestly I'm gonna be using them glistner, so it's less for the investment, more I'm wondering when is the best time to sell them once i'm done with them.

Sorry, meant that as a long-term investment. I'd sell them right before rotation, or when prices start to fall.

It is an EDH card. Foils are going to hold some value, clash pack version might hold a little too. The reg one is not really worth considering for investment.

@Didgeridooda the clash pack version and the regular version are the same card. Courser wasn't one of the alternate art foils that are in the clash pack.

Right, forgot it did not have a different art in there. Either way, I am not sure they hold that value. Maybe a little, but this is the kind of card that you should pick up if you need it, and then after rotation if you are going for investment.

They're an important part of BGW and BGR. They may see even more play now as compared to previously due to the lack of Dark Confidant in the newest builds. Courser provides pseudo card advantage and is therefore more necessary now that the real draw engine has been cut.
Regardless they will fall on rotation and they won't rise massively in the long term.

Honestly, I don't mind much at making money. As I said at first, I'm buying them because of the fact that I need them. I was simply wondering what kind of money I could expect to get back once I'm finished using them when they rotate out in X months.

Its reprinted as a foil in the new clash pack fate so wait a mobth

If you buy them soon, you can get a decent amount of play out of them before rotation comes quite a while from now. You have more than half a year. If you're worried about them, you can then sell them a couple months before rotation while they're still relatively high.
