Im new to mtg and I'm building a Modern red/black midrange deck, for every creature i have, should i have a playset of 4 since most of the creatures are cheap to cast

For example, a Modern America Control deck might include 4x Snapcaster Mage because it's a critical support card for the deck's control suite, but only 1x Vendilion Clique because it's a useful control spell that costs more to cast and doesn't have indispensable impact but can sometimes provide an advantage.
