Could any link me any decks or tell me any good decks (aggro/control etc) for a new player who wants to play at FNM

Mono R or RW aggro is pretty easy to pilot, and fairly powerful on a budget

Try a few drafts first. Much cheaper and it will get you familiar with cards in the set and after a while you'll get good ideas on crafting your own standard deck. Not to mention you will have a decent amount of cards to choose from after drafting for a while. Keep your eye on the top deck lists also cause chances are you'll be facing those in fnm and you'll know what you are up against.

I would start looking into black white warriors. The lands are cheaper than others and is very strong while not too expensive.

RDW. It's easy to assemble, and upgradable. Not to mention fun!

heroic made it to the top 8 today in Texas IIRC. It's pretty damn cheap since there are like 12 (3 playsets of) rares in the deck total.

When in doubt check the standard section of MTGTop8.com. It shows you decks that are winning. All you have to do is pick a deck that speaks to you.

After you get familiar with the format you can branch out and start homebrewing.

I hate to be that guy but if you have lots of money (I say that jokingly) Abzan isn't all that complicated. You play Siege Rhino and turn him sideway

But seriously draft is extremely fun, and it essentially sets you up on par with expert deck builders (card choices that is) it's not based on who is willing to buy playsets of these modern staples that are in standard

So what I'm saying is go draft and look up drafting strategies as well as the card sets you'll be drafting:) I like mythic spoiler because I like viewing the cards. Btw that's dragons of tarkier spoiler if you're weird about that

U/B Control isn't a ton of money once you get Ugin and Dig Through Time. It gets complicated at times, but you learn about meta really quickly when playing control.

Fun deck with plenty of easy options to upgrade in the future.

If anything sign up for a DTK prerelease it will give you a good crash course of building a deck on the fly plus it's super casual.
