Dig Through Time or Blue Sun's Zenith?
Commander Deck Help forum

I am looking to create some card draw in my deck The Arbiter of Angels and Enchantments, and I am wondering what would be the better option? Dig Through Time or Blue Sun's Zenith? DTT is obviously nice because I can use the delve mechanic to play it sooner, but it is a one shot card that only nets me two cards. BSZ requires more mana to be more effective, but I can also play it again (if I happen to draw it again),shuffle my deck if I hit a land patch, and draw more cards if I play enough mana with it. Just looking for some thoughts. Thanks

BSZ is great as a mana sink and it can get you from "meh" to "can I win this turn".
Dig Through Time isn't as good in Commander, it's better in 60 card formats where the decks are more redundant and there are fewer cards to sort through.

Pretty sure this should go in the commander deck help forum.
In any event. I agree, dtt can't hold a candle to bsz in edh. You want the reusability and it has the ability to mill someone else out.

BSZ. If you somehow get "infinite" mana, you can deck someone for giggles so that's a plus. But pretty much what everyone else said. BSZ nets you a butt ton more cards.

I like Dig better in my Grixis looting-style self-mill splinter twin combo deck. I land so many cards in my yard that the thing is never more than UU for me. I always have a full grip of cards in that deck anyways, so the draw is less appealing for me.
Most other cases, BSZ is great.

Blue Sun by far. It's recurrable, a great mana sink, can be used as a finisher, and is just all around nice.

I think my vote for BSZ isn't that helpful since it seems like its the clear winner, but I just wanted to say that there may be some good options for card draw on my profile under the lists of staple effects.

Definitely Blue Sun's Zenith. Your games will go long enough that the card will almost always net more value than Dig Through Time. Dig is better in 60-card formats, where games are generally a bit more streamlined and less powerful.
