wow, okay. Not bad. Also, I have no idea what modern is, just the other formats, could someone explain what is different with this and just standard, or casual play?

ElijahCallahan64 think Standard, but with a bigger card pool and cards don't rotate out of the format. Cards from 8th edition onwards, that have premiered in Standard are legal in Modern. It was named so because at that point they started using the 'modern' looking cardframe.

ElijahCallahan64: I don't really play the game much anymore but look at MTGtop8 for the current best modern decks and perhaps playtest them against Gruul Utopia, the current land destruction deck in modern.
