4-0 FNM, ARLINN KORD IS MY MOM —June 3, 2017
Took the deck to its first FNM and went 4-0, as (to be honest) expected! I'd say the only bad matchup is probably a 50/50 variance-determined Marvel matchup, and happily my LGS only has 2-3 Marvel players.
I won 2-1 against B/W Zombies, 2-1 against Mardu Vehicles, 2-0 against R/U Colossus, and 2-1 against R/G Pummeler.
And that was with 3x MB Negate, hedging against Marvel, which didn't really turn up and ended up being dead draws in many a G1. Game one was definitely the weak point of the night, but now that I know the meta is mostly aggro with some tempo control (Marvel and R/U) I can tune that much better. Post-side I just felt so favored every single game.
