Deck Update —Sept. 17, 2016
I've finally decided to take the Aether Vials out and see how it goes, as well as add some larger drops to top off the curve. The reason for these changes is because Aether Vial too often becomes card disadvantage. While it sees a lot of success in builds like Merfolk, Death & Taxes, Hatebears, and Eldrazi & Taxes, all of those decks have stronger tricks and have Aether Vial as a central pillar to how they curve out such as utilizing their lands as resources that this deck doesn't rely as heavily on. As for the addition of Field Marshal, it gives us a way to close out games quickly and gives us better topdecks.
