Theros Beyond Death —Jan. 22, 2020
For Theros, the only cards we're looking at testing is Devourer of Memory and Soul-Guide Lantern. Devourer's ability is strong enough that we could deal a lot of damage in just one hermit druid activation. Have to see if it's good enough to make the cut. The lantern is just another piece of one sided graveyard hate and I'm finding that this is becoming more and more relevant in all match ups of EDH.
Uro, Titan of Nature's Wrath might be alright too. Even just hard casting him for one card and one land to put him in the graveyard isn't too terrible and we can easily pay his escape cost in most circumstances. For some reason I'm not too excited about him for our deck though and coming out of spolier season he's sitting at a pretty high price point.
