A different approach against Control —June 15, 2017
As a lot of people know, there are two ways that Creature-based decks can win against Control.
They can be so aggro that they kill the Control player before her/his deck can gather steam, or they can run the Control player out of cards.
This deck is really Midrange, not Aggro, even though it CAN win quite quickly.
I don't know why this didn't hit me earlier but keeping Bloodrage Brawler in this deck Post-Sideboard is really counter-intuitive against Control.
If we're trying to play as many spells as possible, to run their hand out of spells, then why play a Creature that often gets rid of another card? That's missing an opportunity to leech another spell out of the Control player's hand.
So, Bloodrage Brawler now disappears Post-SB. In comes a lot of Creature removal, Lay Bare the Heart, which now grabs more stuff than Transgress the Mind, and Scarab Feast to also leech the best spells from the Graveyard.
Wham, bam, thank you ma'am.
