I totally see where you're coming from since Branching Evolution doubles the counters instead of adding an additional. With the way I've been seeing the counters go, it's not a bad add. With Doubling Season the token generation portion is a little more abusable than it seems due to cards like Tyranid Harridan and Tervigon. Even Old One Eye making two 5/5s isn't bad. The other huge downside for this deck in particular with Branching Evolution is the lack of a foil version as well lol but still something to consider a bit more in the future
