, , : Create up to three 0/1 white, blue and black insect enchantment creature token named Butterfly. It has flying. You lose life equal to the number of butterflies you control.
Exile any number of target nonland permanents with total mana value equal to the number of butterflies you control, then return them to the battlefield under your control. Creatures returned this way are Spirits in addition to their other types.
So you'd lose 3 + 6 + 9 life, or 18 life in total. Then you'd gain up to 9 mv worth of permanents indefinitely.
Fun Fact: Giant Caterpillar is the only card in the game that makes Butterfly Tokens.
So since we're at it, let's see something else that makes butterfly tokens. They don't have to be the mono-green versions from our hungry hungry caterpillar, nor do they have to be my esper enchantment ones. Bonus points for tying it into the story above.
