I love this idea.

There's a roundabout way to maneuver unwanted cards out of your way on your library, using Mindshrieker. It's at instant speed, and while you can use it for attacking/blocking, you can self-mill to cut out an unwanted card you foresaw with Index.

Having a Cloudfin Raptor would also quickly become an annoyance for your opponents, as it is an early game flyer that grows as you do, and if your opponent kills it, easy fodder for your Stitched Drake.

Quick flyers with card draw include Sage Owl, Augury Owl, and Palace Familiar. I'm suggesting a lot of birds. If you do add more birds to the deck, you can use Airborne Aid for card draw. It's a tough sell, but Monastery Flock is a higher CMC alternative to Fog Bank that benefits as a bird?

Only Instant I can think of for this would be Deluge.

Lastly this doesn't help with card draw or advantage, but Flood would control your opponent until the Leviathan showed up. Best of luck!

Almost all of the blue natural-disaster-themed spells. Sudden Storm, Deluge and all of their “tap some creatures” compatriots need to branch out. We need some more High Seas and Displacement Wave weird effects. Maybe some more High Seas action...

what about Pongify ? im taking out Volrath's Laboratory , Deluge , and Turnabout for Birthing Boughs , Alter Reality , and Whim of Volrath , just trying to figure out something for Sleight of Mind , i misread Turnabout not realizing it was an or card not an and card

I might consider getting rid of Volrath's Laboratory , but if you are keeping it you could consider switching for for Birthing Boughs , technically the same thing for less mana.

Maybe Turnabout or maybe Deluge - removing cards is always the tougher than finding new cards to add

I'd consider cards that tap all the creatures of your opponents (which also protects from incoming attacks your planeswalkers):

And I'd also consider cards that double the damage rowan can deal with her minus ability, so that you can better clean the board:

Isochron Scepter counts as a cast, Metallurgic Summonings can get lots of instants and sorceries back, Ghastly Discovery and Cast Through Time get repeatable casts, Day of the Dragons, Gravitational Shift and Favorable Winds improve your drakes, and Deluge, Tamiyo, the Moon Sage, and Opposition work great with them too

47552 Love the idea, really creative! I have some recommendations for you though. Onto the birds!

First, if your play group doesn't mind un-cards, then Crow Storm is quite good. Other then that, Storm Crow itself, despite the memes, is not a bad card and is great in bird tribal. Murder of Crows is a really good finisher as it will deter board wipes and swing for 4 a turn. Mindshrieker is another good finsher. Swan Song and Essence Scatter are both great bird themed counterspells and Wing Shards is a great bird themed spell. Crookclaw Elder is a good draw engine and Impaler Shrike and/or Thieving Magpie add a good bit of draw. Keeper of the Nine Gales adds some great board control and helps disrupt the tempo of your opponent. Augury Owl gives some nice foresight to what is coming up and allows you to change the order or throw away the cards that are not needed. Finally, while not a 'bird bird', Soulcatcher is awesome at killing the opponent after some sacrifice shenanigans.

I also have some general recommendations for the deck. Firstly, Culling Dais is awesome. It can tap and sacrifice a bird if that bird is destroyed, turning it into another card for later on. It gets even more ridiculous with Thrummingbird increasing counters. Deluge gives all of your birds pseudo-unblockable and Gravitational Shift beefs up your birds while your opponent's ground troops get weaker. Kangee, Aerie Keeper pumps the power and toughness of all your birds while Aven Mimeomancer makes your tokens bigger. Door of Destinies does similar things to Kangee. Tezzeret's Gambit is a nice draw spell that also adds counters. Glory stops damage cold. In this deck Grafted Wargear is better then Barbed Battlegear, despite the synergy with Soulcatchers' Aerie. Cataclysm is an awesome board wipe, especially with Soulcatchers' Aerie. Masako the Humorless is nasty surprise for your opponent, especially with Glory chilling in the graveyard. Finally, with land I recommend using Nimbus Maze and Sejiri Refuge. I also recommend having 20 lands, but if 18 works, by all means, keep using 18.

I hope this helps! If you would like any help with cuts, just ask, I'll be happy to help!

Since you're going for unblockability, I would suggest the classic Bident of Thassa, Open Into Wonder, Rogue's Gloves, Ongoing Investigation, and of course, Coastal Piracy.

Tapping your opponents creatures is a great way to ensure you can steal stuff. Cryptic Command, Deluge, Ensnare, and Sleep will help you go wide easily.
