Maybeboard

Growing up in the-middle-of-nowhere Kansas as a child, I had no cable/video games/etc until I was about 8-9 years old. (Boo-hoo right? lol) However, I did have my dad's VHS player and his collection of tapes. Almost every weekend my brother and I would watch Ralph Bakshi's animated The Lord of the Rings. When I saw this card was coming out via Secret Lair, I hopped on it as quickly as I could. I understand that this version of Gandalf isn't "the best," but my intention is to make him as great as I possibly can. I was heavily inspired by a couple other decks I found here on TappedOut, so I'd like to mention them as well:

Without these folks' work, I would be very lost on how to build this deck. If anyone out there has any better ideas, (such as including some of the ring temptation mechanics) I am very open to suggestions.

It should be noted that this deck is very much intended for a three or four player game, not one on one. It kinda sucks one on one.

The idea of this deck is to get Gandalf out on the field ASAP, and then start stealing your opponents creatures/copying their spells. I feel like there's a decent amount of ramp, although getting the game started often turns out to be a little slow card-draw wise, so I'm not sure what to do there. The main interaction goal is to shutdown your opponent's gameplan and steal it for your own. There's also a good amount of card draw, opportunities for an unlimited hand, and playing the top card of your deck. The shutdown I've added seems to work well, but mostly against big creature decks. (I'm a little confused on card value, so any input would be appreciated there) I think my main issue is getting things started quickly.

Please evaluate the deck in the "custom" card order type. I set a bunch of categories that will make sense while reading the decklist.
