Hey man Fog Bank is a great addition to any wall deck imo.

This seems extremely vulnerable to enchantment hate, 1 Ruinous Ultimatum shuts your deck down, Banishing Light or Elspeth Conquers Death can handle individual threats.

I dont see any answers to heavy aggro, Sphere of Safety is to slow to reliably protect you.

I love the addition of Mirror Gallery though, that would be interesting.

I think you need to look at ways of protecting your shrines as the deck doesnt really seem to do anything else. Good luck with it, shrines can be so much fun.

Yeah Necromentia is powerful, a lot of people think they get a 2/2 for each card exiles but it's just the ones from hand so usually only 1 or 2 zombies.

As you said if you just snipe any dooms before they can make one stick theres not much they can do.

I look forward to trying this out tonight.

Lol that's what I've done with my casual version, I just wait till I have 10 mana and if they dont have a counter it's over.

I was thinking of cutting: 1x Sanctum of Tranquil Light 1x Sanctum of Shattered Heights 1x Shatter the Sky to make room for 2 and 1 respectively.

Hey man I've been looking for a good non-black shell to try out and I think this is the one I'll try. It looks like you are able to deal with most threats.

I noticed you mentioned doom decks being a tough matchup and I wondered if Pharika's Libation would deal with that? I think that is blacks only real enchantment removal.

Hey man took a look at the list vs. Shrine of Uro and I'd say the biggest threats are the hand hate cards, it can slow down the plan a bit but other than that there isnt much here that worries me. Shrines can be vulnerable to heavy and fast aggro but not much else from what I've played so far.

You dont have any creatures to threaten my life total with if I get a Sanctum of Stone Fangs to stick. You might say Banishing Light or Doom Foretold are your answers but Elspeth Conquers Death, my own Banishing Lights, Ruinous Ultimatum or Ugin, the Spirit Dragon deal with them very well.

Have you thought about going Mardu... () yourself? It opens up a lot of possibilities for damage in red but more importantly Ruinous Ultimatum which can cripple decks, shrines included.

Blast Zone could be another consideration for you as it is removal with a good amount of flexibility.

It's an ambitious deck in my opinion, creatureless ones always are, good luck and have fun with it.

You could try it with 2 and see but I feel like 3 is the minimum since it is also there for fixing your mana, seeing one mid to late game kind of defeats the purpose of having it.

Let's see another 2 colour devotion card based in guild colours. Gruul, Orzhov and Izzet are done.

If you do want to find room for the dryad you could probably afford to cut a couple Sanctum of Fruitful Harvest and maybe a champion.

Ah I had overlooked her enchantment type, that does make a big difference.

Having an early body is always nice, I had tinkered with Paradise Druid and Dryad of the Ilysian Grove for that reason as well as the mana fixing. I know the druid may not fit your style as it's not an enchantment but the dryad might be one to consider if you havent yet.

Yeah as you said, getting Uro to stick around is just gravy, I always love seeing removal wasted on him if he does escape.

With the deck being so streamlined having those openers isnt an issue I seem to worry about, I have taken very few mulligans so far and the few times I have, I only needed to mull to 6.

You are spot with the ultimatum, I have so far used it twice. Once against mono-red aggro and the other against Azorious control, which was crucial.

Yeah needing consistent draws is what caused me to try out my new setup, I wanted to ensure I had what I needed ASAP.

Have you found Destiny Spinner worth having? I had thought about including some myself but didnt have enough confidence in its usefulness.

The Growth Spirals also feed Uros escape.

I dont actually need to escape him, it's usually just a distraction for the opponent if I do, he is mainly there for the ramp, card draw and life gain.

I usually can escape at least 1 Uro a game though if I need to. The Fabled Passages, removal spells and Return to Nature seem to be enough to get 5 in the yard early on.

I hope you are having as much fun with this deck as I am regardless man. I feel like people underestimated shrines, and I am loving it.
