Hahah thanks!

Wait: mana geyser is 5 mana, and is still on the stack when you need to cast reiterate, which you need to cast for 6 because of buyback, right? Then, if your oppos have 7 or more tapped lands it works, but geyser needs to stay on the stack.

Hey, thanks for taking the time to write down the ideas and feedback! There’s some things here i’ve considered already but definitely some new ones too.

Here goes.

Infinite: Let me start off by saying that I’m not looking to add any infinite (mana or damage) combo’s that are too straightforward. In my playgroup it’s kinda not done and i agree for the most part that commander’s not about finding a two-card combo asap.

Ashnod's Altar is a nice card and would probably do a decent job, but i think it’s mostly the infinite potential you’d play it for. I actually removed the altar + deathmantle combo from my Muldrotha deck because people were complaining too much (:

Trading Post > Daretti, Scrap Savant This might be a good swap. Daretti’s not very resilient, so mostly it just gets you one reanimation or a faithless loot if the GY is empty. I also like how it gives your creatures utility when they die. Good idea.

Godo, Bandit Warlord (see infinite)

Heirloom Blade seems decent, it would mostly work on dragons i think? Do you know if “artifact” counts as a creature type for the blade? Otherwise it’s just dragons that have a decent chance here, and i’m sure that’s not enough. Equip for 1 makes it manageable. Seems similar to Shifting Shadow

I didn’t even know Reiterate before now so thanks for the introduction. I guess both have their perks, but i feel i prefer ricochet because it’s a more “over the top” effect. Interesting that it can go infinite with big rituals, though you do need 5 + 6 up front right?

Yeah i only just learned Zirilan of the Claw exists through TO, will definitely make my 99 once i find (/order) one. I’m sure i prefer purph as commander, but zirilan is very cool too.

Fun Cards

The fun cards you mentioned can create quite the havoc! I don’t think i’ll add any of them soon because they break the mold of what i’m trying to do a little bit, though Indomitable Creativity seems pretty decent. Though i’m not sure I like how my artifact removal might give my oppo’s even more powerful stuff.

Thanks again!

PS: could you +1 if you like it? Then we become #1 purph on T/O!

Said on Dungeons & Dragons...

Hey, nice deck!

Didn’t even know Zirilan of the Claw, but your deck showed up in my list of similar decks on Purphy, the Sneakster God.

Have you considered Dragon's Hoard? It’s a little lower powerlevel but gets you to 5 on t4 and is a good source of card adv. later on.

+1, any suggestions (what performs great for you, what less so?) if you have them for me would be welcome too!

Hey cruizen, i like this deck! It’s similar to my Purphy, the Sneakster God, but different commanders and mine’s a little more focussed on big creatures. Have you played with it yet? I feel like you could use some more creatures to sneak out with ilharg, though of course you really only need 1 in hand with Ilharg. Have a look at my deck, you might find some overlap or ideas! +1!

I highly recommend Sundial of the Infinite, you can prevent creatures from ilharg and tokens from flameshadow conjuring or kiki from leaving the battlefield that way.
