Hello!

I'm a very casual player who loves tribal. Generally I just want to play with the cards and theme I like and focus a victory from there.

Merfolk and Elves were my top two tribes in which I play in Modern. They may not be top tier, but I enjoy the gameplay and stick to them.

Deck building for me has always been a great way to express myself. I still try to win every game I play, but my decks still are very fun and enjoyable to play and even if I lose I leave the table happy.

I'm newer to EDH but I have fallen in love with the format and really enjoy making decks. In paper I own the following decks:

Nin, the Pain Artist

Nylea, God of the Hunt

Sygg, River Cutthroat

Torbran, Thane of Redfell

Alela, Artful Provocateur

Najeela, the Blade-Blossom

Even though I love tribal, I have only made one tribal deck so far which is Najeela and Warriors. Sygg started out as Rogue tribal, focusing on creatures that can't be blocked. But this was too inconsistent and not fast enough. So I focused directly on Sygg, and developed a deck that focused on recurring life loss.

Alela started as Faerie tribal and instead moved into artifacts/enchantments to help with Alela's ability.

As I said I am new, if you take a look at my decks, please feel free to leave any types of feedback to help improve the decks.

KidEnkidu Mogg Maniac was suggested before, and with Darksteel Plate might be a great addition I didn't see until now.

As for Basilisk Collar that is definitely something I think I'd like to include. With Nin, it would take me a turn getting rid of an opponents creature, unless I built in multiple ways to untap Nin at will so I can activate her ability several times a turn if needed.

From my play testing, if I don't draw stuffy I generally get it very soon with Nin's ability. But there have been a few games where stuffy is at the bottom and very difficult to aquire. But does show up once I get a tutor. I have been actively testing and trying to improve this deck over and over again.

Thank you for your comment, and suggestions. This is my favorite of all of my decks and I tend to it as soon as I find a positive change

I love the theme of this deck, I am actually working on my own Reaper King deck with a very similar build, utilizing shapeshifters and other scarecrows.

It may not be as synergistic as the rest of the deck, but with the amount of different lands you have Field of the Dead might be a good inclusion. And if you also include Arcane Adaptation that makes those zombies the tribe of your choosing, which is more triggers from your Commander.

king-saproling I do like Shifting Shadow this would help with the consistency of getting stuffy out. Pariah's Shield was included in my hand written list but I must have overlooked it, so that's definitely has to go in. Repercussion was thought of, but I can't afford taking the damage to myself with my Stuffy Doll and the clones I make of Stuffy.

Chain Reaction is definitely a card I am thinking of including, especially if the board state gets large and I have multiple Stuffy Doll on the field.

As for the others, I don't see them fitting in this deck with it's focus on getting Nin to burn my Dolls and the Clones.

I greatly appreciate the suggestions, it helps me look at the deck in a different way. Thank you!

Tectonic Reformation would be a good inclusion to help give you a bit of draw and dump some lands if you flood out or just really need to draw.

Have you thought about Furnace of Rath, Dictate of the Twin Gods or Fiendish Duo? Having the ability to double the damage and then have Torbran add to that is helpful in my experience.

Also adding Techtonic Reformation would help with card draw if you flood out with mountains, or need draw in a pinch.

I did think about putting in gamble, or adding whir of invention, reshape, or long term plans. Long term plans works best with nin, because I can target any of my creatures for at least 3 and be guaranteed to draw stuffy. And if stuffy makes it's way into the graveyard I have a few ways to get it out of the graveyard with Emry or mystical retreaval.

Worst case, I use the clones on opponents creatures if possible.

I'm constantly tuning this deck and appreciate the suggestion.

This deck draws obscene amounts of cards. Original build was self mill, but was not constant at all.
