Hello, this is a Rat tribal deck that I built for more casual gameplay. This is also the intro commander deck I've made for my wife, because she enjoys the band Ghost, and loves rats(the song and the animal).

This deck is designed with more flavorful rats than going straight Rat Colony with Thrumming Stone. I do like how well that combo plays, but this deck is more of a celebration of the Rat Tribe. Not all the rats I wanted made the cut, but this deck is a ton of fun to play.

Main objective is to swarm the board with your rats, or win with several of the other win conditions added in the deck. Go infinite with Marrow-Gnawer and Thornbite Staff with at least 3 rats on the field. When swarming the board, even 5 or 6 rats can be devastating with one of my favorite cards, Coat of Arms.

I've also included Torment of Hailfire and Exsanguinate as devastating finishers.

This deck also runs Liliana, Dreadhorde General and if you can get her to use her -9, that can end the game rather quickly.

Meant to be fun, not degrading to your opponents with irritating combos.

This started on more of a budget side, but will add in some more expensive cards as time goes on. Cards such as Cabal Coffers or Damnation were just out of my price range so were not included, but the intention is to add them over time.

The deck has been in paper for awhile, but figured I'd post this since the new Secret Lair got announced.

NOTE: You can replace Rat Colony with Relentless Rats and besides having a slightly higher management curve, the deck functions the same.
