Embree Thanks for the kind words!

That sounds like a sweet interaction, Reckless Abandon sounds like it would a killer in a goblin list now that I'm looking at it. Cheers, and thanks again!

Daedalus19876 Thanks for the comment! Prohibit has a TON of hits in the format, and it is a straight hard counter over leak, but I have debated making that switch.

I agree with the Brainstorm call, I just wanted to mess around with Cover-Up...plus I like the added shuffle effect for Brainstorm being tied to a counter, but you're right, not the best card.

PooperDix Must haves are probably the removal spells in general, and the Gary's. If you were going to make swaps I think you could mess around with the Ragers and Ravenous Rat counts.

Also if you enjoy any of my lists you're testing, please leave an upvote. Cheers!

PooperDix haha yeah that's a little too situational for me.

I do love ravens crime though, and run it in my jund deck and in my Rakdos discard/control list Ernest Borgnine...its a great card.

The amount of non creature spells you're running, I would definitely take a look at Seeker of the Way.

There is a sweet pauper list running around playing seekers and of all things Sacred Cat that routinely gets over well over 40 life. I for the life of me can't find it, and I know it's a different format, but still might be worth a look for some ideas. Cheers!

PooperDix Flame Jab is a devious card for a deck like this, it seems good, but in all honesty, if you're drawing enough lands to make flame jab a threat, you're probably losing anyway haha.

Even though it includes the art for one of my all time favorite Swamps, I don't think it makes the deck. Possible sideboard inclusion, but doubtful. Thanks for the intrest in the build and the input. Cheers!

Modern isn't my jam, but is Prohibit relevant in the format? Seems like hit has a ton of hits in a relatively fast format.

Either way the deck looks sweet, love Grixis builds. +1

Pauper Simic Flash.

It's a really fun build, still messing around with it. Input supremely welcomed, upvotes even more so. Cheers!!

Didn't realize you can Faerie at instant speed...I might have to start running that in my black sideboards haha.

The Caterpillar Grapple interaction makes sense. Just a little mana intensive.

I think having the angler or scavengers are still worth it with threshold, your graveyard should be deep with all the dredge and mill...even with adding in some delve. Side note, I think sultai scavenger is underrated in the format, 3/3 Fliers are gooood haha.

Cheers, have fun brewing!

PooperDix "rip" meaning draw...when you draw your 4th land.

You can always throw in a few delve threats like Sultai Scavenger and Gurmag Angler.

A copy of Thorn of the Black Rose could be great card draw for the deck. Maybe Pulse of Murasa instead of Gnaw? Gnaw could still be great in the sideboard though.

Also maybe move the Edicts to the board and cut the Faeries, and just main board Bojuka Bog.

Mephitic Vapors could be another great card for the board. I also just like Natural State over the caterpillars.

Either way I think you're on to something here, +1!

PooperDix I get ya, that's the inherent problem with burn, it's either over real fast...or you have a strong case of the feel bads when you rip your 4th land.

The Shaman makes sense for the board, but adding in bog's and terminates and looting spells makes this a worse burn deck IMO, if I'm casting a spell I want it to do damage, I'm not playing enough land to loot and burn.

Rakdos burn is an awesome list though, but this is not that list. Tormenting Voice and Reunion fit great in that list because you're running a lot of the madness burn spells and a good amount of flashback.

Freed from the Real is another combo with Axebane.

Other good Walls are Wall of Nets, Geist of the Archives, and Drift of Phantasms.

Also Belligerent Brontodon is another Assault Formation effect.

PooperDix haha that would definitely be a turn one crusher, you need the god hand, but its possible.

Also, I really like the include of Undying Evil in the list as protection.
