I have played Magic: the Gathering for 8 years, beginning with a couple Champions of Kamigawa preconstructed decks. I started to really get interested in Magic with the release of Time Spiral, and never looked back.

My deck building style can be summed up by a quote from Urza found on Coalition Victory: "You can build a perfect machine out of imperfect parts." I try to build around commons whenever possible, and never buy cards individually, as I don't see the fun in just buying the perfect deck.
