That's a good point! Yeah I'll try it out for a little while and see how I like it by comparison.

Thanks for the input! I've definitely thought about running either Night's Whisper or Sign in Blood over Read the Bones. Between those two, Sign in Blood has a riskier mana cost, but can be used as pseudo-burn to the opponent in some cases. Either way, the reason I've gone with Read the Bones is that in the case that I wouldn't have the third mana to cast Read the Bones I likely still have other cards in my hand to play with my one or two mana, and so I wouldn't need to "reload" on cards yet. On the other hand, if I have no cards to play and do need to "reload" it is likely because I've gotten enough land to play my hand out pretty thoroughly. In that case, I can replenish my cards with the bonus scry (which is so underrated!). All in all, you may even still be right, because when I reload on cards, I would have an extra mana available that turn to play something - which is a key point. I'll have to playtest that some! Thanks again, and let me know what you think!

Thanks for the suggestion! I think that Aether Vial is better suited in decks that have much larger suite of low-costed creatures. There are only 19 in this deck, and I wouldn't even count Deathbringer Liege because of its high cost. Here are some examples of decks that work well with Aether Vial (Merfolk and Death & Taxes):

They have a much higher creature count (29 and 31), and the creatures are evenly spread over the low-end of the curve. So if you're into Aether Vial I'd recommend those two archetypes!

In regards to Esper Charm: In short, I completely agree! I haven't messed with this deck in a while, but I think I would cut Blue and just add more grindy pieces.
