I like both of them.

Hour of Promise lets me search for Strip Mine and Tectonic Edge which is something that I always appreciate in my metagame. But for simple ramping it costs 1 mana more than Skyshroud Claim or Hunting Wilds.

Mirari's Wake ramps really big the turn after you play it and also increases the trigger of Gishath, Sun's Avatar.

The problem is that there's already much ramp in this deck and that, in my opinion, those 5 mana spells compete with other really good ramp spells in the 4 mana slot (Garruk Wildspeaker, Oracle of Mul Daya). Maybe Explosive Vegetation gets cut for one of your suggestions. I might also cut one of the hymn-like effects (Cathars' Crusade, Coat of Arms) for Mirari's Wake as a kind of compromise.

These options are all close together and I will have to do a lot of playtesting until I find the optimal ramp package.

Wow, these are quite some strong and complicated cards for a 7 year old! You might throw Scroll Rack into the mix as well. Rings of Brighthearth would be another way to copy the activated ability of Mayael the Anima.

I also noticed some cool cards in your deck that I didn't know before: I might consider Zoologist, Call of the Wild and Game Preserve for myself.

It's cool to hear ideas from someone who builds his dino tribal with a different commander.

At first, I also thought that cards like Coat of Arms would be unnecessary. But those hymn-like effects also increase the size of Gishath, Sun's Avatar and her triggered ability. That's why I want to give it a try.

I might consider Growing Rites of Itlimoc  Flip, but it might often not flip until Gishath hits the board and then it's almost too late. There aren't many more mana sinks like Thundering Spineback. The dagger may be too conditional.

Thanks for Kavu Lair! I didn't know that card. I think Soul of the Harvest is too expensive, but it's better in Mayael the Anima. Concerning Rites of Flourishing: no group hug for my play group!!!

The thing with Yavimaya Elder is, that it doesn't ramp. It just generates a ton of card advantage. This is good, but while playing I often found myself in the situation of having to discard to handsize after activating the elder.

I'll include Berserkers' Onslaught, so that my dinosaurs can hit even harder. But I can't take out Duelist's Heritage because it has this cool political aspect and costs only three mana. Maybe I'll just take out another vanilla dino.

Door of Destinies might need a little too much effort until it pays off but Coat of Arms is truly powerful. After some testing I'll have to decide between Beastmaster Ascension, Cathars' Crusade and Coat of Arms which one to cut.

I like your deck because it's about smashing the opponents face in pure and simple!

I think you already made a really good job with your card choices. Many of those I would have suggested as well.

Here are the few that still come into my mind:

  • Illusionist's Bracers would economize mana if you activate the ability of Kumano, Master Yamabushi at least three times (assumed you play and equip the bracers the same turn you want to start shooting)

  • with Basilisk Collar your commander becomes a machine gun, because dealing one deathtouch damage to a creature suffices to kill it. It might also be good to gain some life with the collar here and then, though lifelink does only work with combat damage.

  • Repercussion has huuuge combo potential in this deck. It might be even dangerous for yourself. But normally you should be able to play it in a way that it hurts your opponents more than yourself. Imagine playing Blasphemous Act or Chandra's Ignition while this is on board and your opponent having 2 or 3 creatures. It will often be a game ender.

  • Commander's Sphere as another Mind Stone, Hedron Archive

  • maybe play Mind's Eye or Seer's Sundial

  • Radiate is a funny card

  • and why don't you play Skullclamp? It doesn't work with the ability of Kumano, Master Yamabushi because the creatures won't die, but you have enough sweepers and burn effects in this deck to cash in a lot of draws when you equip your creatures with skullclamp before.

  • you could use some land destruction as well: Volcanic Offering, Strip Mine, Tectonic Edge

  • Stranglehold establishes parity between you and all the black, green and blue decks that have the ability to play a lot of tutors. It is a great card and a bit underrated I must say.

  • Braid of Fire generates mana that you can use for Kumano, Master Yamabushis ability in your upkeep

I'll definitely add Cathars' Crusade and Beastmaster Ascension and start some goldfishing.

But I'm not sure about Darksteel Plate because the interaction with Raptor Hatchling is a corner case and the card may not be necessary in most other situations (you can still trigger most enrage abilities without the dinosaurs dying). Might try it if the deck prooves to have too much trouble with mass removals

Extreme Dinosaurs Gishath EDH

I'm looking forward to some general comments on my Gishath EDH deck for multiplayer. Because the commander costs 8 mana and because you have to play a lot of vanilla dinosaurs to make her triggered ability good, I want the rest of the cards to be preferably competitive. As I haven't got the chance to play with Gishath in real life yet, I am especially interested in the experiences that people made while actually playing Gishath in their playgroups.

my strategy for making your deck faster is:

  1. putting in more cheap vampires as this synergises with your commander more: Insolent Neonate, Kheru Mind-Eater, Guul Draz Assassin, Viscera Seer, Bloodthrone Vampire, Blood Bairn, Vampire Aristocrat, Bloodflow Connoisseur, Malakir Cullblade. This way you can swarm the board early while en passant generating tokens, then attack with Edgar Markov on turn 6.

  2. putting in some ultra aggressive cards. Alongside tokens Mercadia's Downfall can be devastating, for example. Another one would be Mirror Entity. Note that this one is also a vampire and that the +1/+1-counters stay on the creatures when you change their base power and toughness.

  3. cutting some of the more expenise and non-aggressive cards: Campaign of Vengeance, Stensia Masquerade and maybe you should reduce your lifegain/-loss subtheme if you want to go the faster route. Also Vanquisher's Banner is cool tech, but at 5 mana it may be too expensive

By the way: a card that can go absolutely crazy in token tribal decks is Mana Echoes. Unfortunately it is no budget card.

bushido_man96 mentioned some mass removals. Their asymetrical effect is nice but they also cost a lot of mana. Some other really good asymmetrical mass removals for token decks would be Austere Command, Fell the Mighty, Retribution of the Meek and Dusk.

even for a budget version your deck is already going in the right direction, I think!

Haven't thought of Cathars' Crusade for this kind of deck before, but letting Gishath grow bigger, each time his trigger reveals a dinosaur, is just a really great combo! Will definitely think about that for my own deck. Mercadia's Downfall could be a blowout-card in this deck, too (imagine how big Gishath's trigger can grow this way!).

If you're looking for more enrage enablers, take a look at Breath of Darigaaz, Pyrohemia and Desert.

For ramp you could consider Urza's Incubator instead of one of the monuments.

A fun multiplayer card that either cheats out creatures from your hand or from the library is Selvala's Stampede.

Ah, I see, Aggravated Assault is truly the real deal in this deck!

Another card that comes to my mind is Price of Progress as long as you're not in a meta full of monocolored decks.

There's one more thing I would like to notice. If you're playing Neheb, the Eternal on turn 5, you will sometimes get no immediate value out of him, because you can't play a burn spell in the same turn and you sometimes won't have any other creatures in play that turn, because you're only playing 15. Maybe you could add some strong creatures with evasion that cost 4 mana like Territorial Hellkite or Thunderbreak Regent, which you could cast on turn 4 and then attack with them after you played Neheb on turn 5.

I also think that Shattering Spree is better than By Force, because the former is more difficult to counter.

And Radiate is a funny card that might have some applications in this deck.

Hey, this looks like a great deck! I really like Neheb, the Eternal as a commander. +1!

The combo-potential between Neheb, the Eternal and cards like Fury of the Horde is just over 9000!!! The mana you generate with him stacks up with every extra combat step. So why don't you also play Relentless Assault and Seize the Day? World at War does only work in the first postcombat mainphase but would still be nice. Savage Beating can only be cast in the combat phase, so you cannot use the mana from Neheb, the Eternal to cast it. Maybe it should leave therefore.

Another idea would be to include cards that give your commander flying, so that he won't get killed by cards like Molten Disaster anymore. You could include Fleetfeather Sandals or Akroma's Memorial. This way you could also play Earthquake in your deck. If you manage to give him horsemanship, you could also include Rolling Earthquake ;).

Finally, you could also include Breath of Darigaaz and maybe Warmonger.

I'm sorry, but this really is the last comment. Stranglehold is also good in this deck, because it hinders the opponent from searching for Return to Dust or All Is Dust to remove your Purphoros, God of the Forge.

Aaand Stranglehold is great when you're playing tokens, because a lot of the opponents will try to search their library for their one-off anti-token-tool

Some more cards that I considered for my naya tokens deck back in the day:

Kyren Negotiations extracts additional damage out of your tokens.

Furystoke Giant is similar but lets you ping creatures as well.

Spawning Pit lets you recycle your tokens. Also good in response to sweepers.

Mana Echoes would generate a ton of colorless mana in your deck, even though you use different creature types. Hordeling Outburst for example would generate at least 9 mana in total.

Hi, your deck looks like it's a lot of fun playing! I enjoy the power of Purphoros, God of the Forge in my own naya tokens deck.

You do not mention Goblin Rabblemaster, Hanweir Garrison and Young Pyromancer in your Budget section or alongside the cards that didn't make the cut, so I just want to suggest them because I like them.

Also Mercadia's Downfall is a nice alternative wincon against most decks, but maybe it's just not necessary in yours.
