Hey Opvela! I heard you were the one to talk to about building a sultai deck. Would you be willing to give me thoughts on my sultai build I'm putting together? I feel I need to cut for more removal spells...

+1. I feel like Lightning Bolt deserves a spot in this deck.

By all means, go ahead. I created the DarkSong concept to be used. It most certainly does require some fine tuning. I could see bigger creatures going in, but not too many. I agree with the idea of adding an efficient beater. However, I cannot agree on Ob Nixilis. Please do create a version of this and tag me in it. I would like to see your implementation Ob.

I like it. The things I could see exchanging, in liu of, are the Lingering Souls.

First & foremost my friend, thank you, for not only your support, but also your observations and feed back.
I really do enjoy Tasigur, however, with Confidant--I feel not only creates unnecessary issues with the shell. More so even with Thought Scour, as it may hit a combo piece or at times render the draw effect useless. I love me some graveyard shenanigans. This deck unfortunately does not revolve around it and that is where Snapcaster Mage really shines. Trust me--you are making me want to create a Esper Delve list!
Please, by all means, use this as a source to improve upon. I would welcome any other advice and I hope this answered your questions.

Have you considered lowering your land count? Also, how do you feel about going down 1x Thrun, or perhaps moving him to the sideboard? +1.

It is in the 75. Thank you, though. It had been previously mentioned.

I considered the Hallowed Fountain. However the has become a tad less prevalent. I will test it out, today. Regarding the fetches - both Polluted Delta & Verdant Catacombs, may both search for the single swamp, but more importantly, the Godless Shrine. I see exactly what you are saying, though, and it sounds good, for our longer fights. I will take note of that.
I am very pleased with your results and the fun you are having, along with winning. Keep me updated. I test with the Gauntlet, today.

First and foremost, thank you, for your continued support. Your observations and reports have been paramount in getting us here. There has been almost 100 revisions along the way, to get where it needed to be. The sligh implementation of has just catered to the shell, so well.
The ability to pitch cards like Siege Rhino & Lingering Souls, and still have interaction with them throughout the game is essential to winning. Liliana, the Last Hope, acts as a Kolaghan's Command, and Siege Rhino, as Lightning Helix.
I do not see this shell changing too much. However, I have been considering a card or two, from Hour of Devastation.
Once again, thank you all, for the continuous support. My Gauntlet hates this deck in a respectful way. They eye-balled me, at first - being 4 Colors and all, however, I am beating Ad Nauseam, Affinity, Death's Shadow (gave up on thier Infect deck), Burn, Jund, and Storm Combo. One of our players took my idea of introducing EldraziTron into the mix. It is the most difficult of them all. It may not be a GP, but boy do we cast some spells. My friends say "This does what Jund does, but better."

Hello. I would like to first start, by saying that I genuinely enjoy the concept here. However, I just feel that it is all a numbers game. Numbers, as in fine tuning.
The greatest perk of playing decks that abuse the graveyard are that we have a second hand, that acts as an anthem, for our creatures/planeswalkers. Examine the combination of Grim Flayer/Tarmogoyf (who need card variety) - paired with Snapcaster Mage (who needs quality). This is perfectly fine, but when Delve is introduced - I believe 1-2 delve spells is the limit. Anymore causes strain on the deck.
If it works for you, though, leave it. If you notice issues , incorporate this.
I also strongly believe that you it is more than safe, for you to -2 lands and go to 20. Our curve is so low that you can include more threats/answers.
I feel it is safe to -1 Serum Visions.
If I may, what do you typically play against?

Oi. I have been occupied, as of late my friend. Allow me to be of some assistance.

I used "they", as in /x & Delver - eventually fold to excess spot removal decks, like Mardu. Creature removal decks run 7 + removal spells and fair decks win, by beat down (usually), so taking out their 7-12 creatures - highly lowers their probability of drawing into another win condition. These decks win, by life total deduction.
I'll probably get lit up, for my opinion, but here's a rough draft of what I have been brewing up.

Mardu's game 1 may only "target creatures & cause hand disruption." Have you ever noticed that against Jund or Grixis Delver - they loose? The reason for this is that they only run about 12 creatures and Mardu damn near plays all removal. However, against decks like Tron, and combo are harder because of no versatility - outside of destroy target creature. We cannot rely on 1x of Dreadbore or Anguished Unmaking to consistently beat non-linear decks.
Path to Exile Is great, but it now ramps EldraziTron with the inclusion of Wastes. With Death's Shadow (12% Meta) based decks - using delve and Tron (11% Meta) having larger converted mana cost spells and creatures; Lightning Bolt & Fatal Push become incrementally weaker in the current competitive meta.
Without "catch all" cards like Maelstrom Pulse/Abrupt Decay or Mana Leak - if the threat enters play...Mardu tends to loose. Discard is great, but more importantly acts as a preventive measure, as opposed to an answer.
The threats that Mardu offers are Tokens (Lingering Souls, Young Pyromancer, Bitterblossom and so on) and Gurmag Angler. Dark Confidant is an attacking "enchantment." There are, of course the the flavorful who include awesome cards like Olivia Voldaren, Kalitas, Traitor of Ghet, and or Demigod of Revenge.
Game 2, though, however, has insane potential, due to all of the aggressive sideboard hate. On the one hand Mardu is awesome against extremely fair decks. It just does not have versatility at the moment.
Mardu is waiting, for it's own bomb. It is coming.
