Sacrifice Myriad Landscape with no lands in deck

Hello,
What happens if you sacrifice Myriad Landscape but without realizing it, you find that there are no lands in the deck?
Also, can you purposefully sacrifice Myriad Landscape knowing there are no lands in the deck?

You fail to find anything with the specified characteristics and shuffle your deck.
Yes, you can use a tutor even if you know you don't have anything to find. You can even intentionally fail to find even if there are cards in your deck of the required characteristics if for some reason you just want to shuffle your library.
