Multicolor Devotion Clarification

Athreos, God of Passage

"As long as your devotion to white and black is less than seven, Athreos isn't a creature."

Does this mean that I require 7 Black Devotion + 7 White Devotion

or

7 Devotion of Black/White(e.g. 7 Black / 7 White / 4 Black + 3 White)

It means 7 altogether of any combination of Black and White.

700.5. A player’s devotion to [color] is equal to the number of mana symbols of that color among the mana costs of permanents that player controls.

Devotion to white and black counts the total number of mana symbols that are either white, black, or both. Hybrid mana symbols count only once. Athreos, God of Passage looks for at least seven symbols total.
