Heartless Hidetsugu+Phyresis?

If i enchant Heartless Hidetsugu with Phyresis, will his ability give everyone poison counters since the card states he does the damage?

Man....thats ugly...but thanks..i was lookin at that combo for a red black infect deck but wasnt sure if it would fly

Bear in mind it does it to you too, so if you're at 20 or more life you'll also die to his effect.

Yes, Infect states that a creature with infect deals damage in the form of poison counters, so if Heartless Hidetsugu were enchanted with Phyresis and you activated his ability he would deal damage to all players, and that damage would be dealt in the form of poison counters.
