Does the new Ragemonger make Boros Reckoner just cost white mana?

Say one has the newly revealed Ragemonger out, and wants to play Boros Reckoner . Would the Reckoner now cost one white and two red/white mana, or would it shave the entire red/white hybrid mana symbol off?

It removes the whole hybrid. So Boros Reckoner would cost R/W R/W.

The way hybrid mana actually works, is that as you're casting the spell you are actually supposed to declare which colour of mana you are going to pay for each hybrid mana symbol in the casting cost.

So in the case of Boros Reckoner you would need to say "I cast Boros Reckoner, paying RRR" or "RWW" or "WWW" or whatever version you choose to pay. THEN things like cost reducing abilities from the Ragemonger will apply. So you'd say "I cast Boros Reckoner, paying RRW" and then the Ragemonger would reduce the cost to RW.
