Does Masked Gorgon have 2 abilities with Threshold?

Just making sure since the oracle says nothing.
Masked Gorgon gives all green and white creatures protection from Gorgons. But is his threshold a replacement effect or a bonus effect? Will he also gain protection from Green and White?

Mind if I ask a follow up question?
My opponent only has green or white creatures. Can I still play Shields of Velis Vel on them since it does not target any creature but instead a player?
And does Shields of Velis Vel also work on me even if Masked Gorgon is in threshold too due to the same reason?

Yes, Shields of Velis Vel will work normally. Like you said, it only targets a player, and the rest of its effect doesn't do any of the things that the creatures' protection abilities will interfere with (damage, enchanting/equipping, blocking, targeting).

Because the Threshold effect doesn't specifically say it removes or replaces the first ability, it means it grants additional abilities. See cards like Thermal Blast or Far Wanderings for examples of Threshold effects that replace another effect on the card (I don't think there are any permanent-type cards with examples like this).
