pretty straight forward here does Enshrouding Mist stop deathtouch in terms of killing a creature

Deathtouch means that any amount of damage dealt to a creature is enough to destroy it. Since all damage is being prevented, the creature targetted by Enshrouding Mist won't be destroyed.
