Does Borderland Marauder swing with 3?

The Borderland Marauder is a 1 drop 1/2 with the ability "When Borderland Marauder attacks, it gets +2/+0 until end of turn. Does that mean whenever I swing I am swinging with 3?
Or does it get the +2 AFTER it attacks. (Which my brother says :P)
Just to clarify, you declare attackers as a turn based action at the beginning of the "declare attackers" step. If there is an effect in place that prevents creatures from attacking if they are greater than or less than a certain power (such as Ensnaring Bridge), Borderland Marauder's power is 1 at this time. After all attackers have been chosen, the triggered ability that gives it +2/+0 will go on the stack. When that resolves, it will become a 3/2.

Borderland Marauder will get the +2/+0 after you declare attacks and before your opponent declares blockers. So in a sense, yes, it will attack as a 3/2.
