can you name token as creature type for Obelisk of Urdso i can use it as soldier and warrior for +2/+2

Token is not a card type, much less a creature type. Creature types are things like Soldier and Warrior, basically what you would see after "Creature - " in the typeline of the card. You cannot name Token with Obelisk of Urd .

This confusion is only going to get worse now that token cards say 'Token Creature'

Token is not a creature type. Token is a placeholder object that represents something that was created with an effect. Creature tokens often have their own creature types specified within the efect that creates them. For example, Hooded Hydra creates green Snake creatures, Raise the Alarm creates Soldier tokens.
