Can I re-play Intet and still be able to play cards exiled with her?

Asked by Halphinianian 8 years ago

I saw a card called Intet, the Dreamer and saw great commander potential in it, so I proceeded to research it. I read that "After Intet leaves the battlefield, if a card exiled this way is still exiled, you may still look at it. You won't be able to play it, though," and that made me think.

I can't play an exiled card (put there by Intet) if Intet isn't on the battlefield, but can I play it if I bring her back?

No.

When a card refers to itself by name it means "the game object that this text is on. When a card leaves the battlefield and re-enters; either through blinking, flickering, reanimation, bouncing, or going to the command zone; it is a new game object.

Just cast the card for free in response, assuming you have that ability, (instants and flash cards) before Intet leaves the field.
