Can I Morph cards turned down by Ixidron?

Asked by braddybarr 9 years ago

When I play Ixidron, and I face down my own Morph creature with it, can I use for e.g. Maelstrom Djinn's morph ability then?

Yes. The Morph cost is the cost to turn the card face up- it doesn't matter if it was cast face down or turned face down.

Thanks. i was reading forward, I reallized, it is still not the best for a Morph deck, as it might hurt our own deck more than the opponent's deck.I couldn't sleep so I made mine. It still needs more work.

Also remember that it makes opponents creatures turn face down as well. Playing it in your morph deck is a little more beneficial when they do not have morph in their deck. Helps you reuse your effects and maintain a decent P/T from your opponents face down chumps.
