About Enshrouding Mist Effect
Asked by DiscoVeggie 8 years ago
Say I have one creature that is Renowned but tapped. It's not my opponent's turn and he/she also has one creature but ready to attack. He/She declares the one creature as an attacker. And of course after that, I'm supposedly allowed to declare blockers. Can I cast Enshrouding Mist during this phase to untap my creature and then declare it as blocker?

Declaring blockers is the very first action you take during the Declare Blockers step. As long as you cast Enshrouding Mist at some point before that time then your play will work. Your last chance will be during the Declare Attackers step (after your opponent has declared attackers).
