what happens when a creature with trample is blocked by Fog Bank
if I cast Supreme Verdict while Blood Artist is on the field will he trigger for every creature destroyed by the verdict

I can answer the second question. When Supreme Verdict is cast with Blood Artist is on the field, everything will die at once. This means for each creature being killed, Blood Artist will trigger. If you think about it, when you sacrifice Blood Artist to something, you get his trigger from the sacrifice, so it would trigger for each creature dying.

no, Fog Bank prevents all damage that would be dealt to it therefore it doesn't die. A creature must be dealt ''lethal damage" for trample damage to go through.
yes, Blood Artist 's trigger applies whenever he or any other creature dies and you may simply have him be the last of the creatures to technically go to the graveyard.

@Aelorith2117 Lethal damage is damage equal to a creature's toughness. It doesn't take into account any prevention or redirection abilities.
510.1c.
You have to assign at least 2 damage to the Fog Bank because that's enough for lethal. You can assign more than 2 if you want, but any extra tramples over.
When multiple creatures are destroyed at the same time, they all die at the same time, so they all "see" each other go to the graveyard at the same time, which is why they trigger each other's abilities. The only difference in the order is what order you put the cards in the graveyard.

Aelorith2117 is wrong about Fog Bank. Lethal damage is damage equal to the creature's toughness. You do trample over Fog Bank.

Fog Bank will prevent 2 points of damage and the rest will go through.
Yes, and I forget why.
