"Sync with Inventory" Question

I know that there was another question a few days ago about the "Sync with Inventory" check box on the deck building screen, but it really didn't answer my question. What happens when I click this? Are my cards moved from Inventory to In Decks? Or is it simply added to my Inventory under the In Decks category? I tried messing with it for a little bit, but I couldn't figure it out. I just don't want to mess up the 1500+ cards I already have on the site when I add a new deck... Thanks in advance!

the cards in your deck should get mirrored over to your inventory minus the acquireboard

I'm not sure what you mean by mirrored. I want to know if the cards are added to my Inventory or moved from my Inventory to 'In Decks'.

Mirrored = Ctrl C, Ctrl V. Not Ctrl X, Ctrl V.

Basically, if you have a deck and you sync with inv it assumes that everything in that deck, minus anything that appears in the acquireboard, is a card that you own. So if you save it you should be able to pull up your inventory and see the cards in your deck automatically there.

good stuff to know.

SO if I have multiple EDH deck with say Umezawa's Jitte in it and all my decks are "synced with Inventory", will it state I have multiple copies of said card because its in multiple decks that are all synced?

it does now, that's one we can certainly consider changing or adding options for

it wouldnt be bad to have. But then again choosing whether or not it totals cards or just sows one would be just as much work as going in and editing the inventory yourself so I wouldnt say its a big deal. I was just curious :)
