Add card to deck

So, lets say I am browsing other decks and I see several cards I want to add to my deck. It's a huge pain to go to my deck and add one card, then go back to the deck I was looking at and then go back to my deck and then add that card and then save and then exit my deck and then go back into that other decklist I saw and find the name of that other card that looked good and then log back into my account and then go back into my deck and then edit and then have to save, again.

Wouldn't it be nice if we could have an "add card to deck mode". All of the cards in that decklist from someone else we are looking for maybe change to a different color or something to signify we are in the mode and then when we click on it we have an option popup that says add to decklist. We select that and a small window comes up next to that that you can scroll through that has all of our decks and then we select the one we want to add to and it gets added to that deck's maybe board.

I see no reason this is unreasonable or impossible.

I can see it as the same UI that one normally has for the quick number edit for their own decks. So it would be the same button UI popup on the right side of a card that appears when you click on a card's quantity. Then clicking the "add card to deck" button would create a pop-up to to select which deck, and then when confirmed, the maybeboard of that deck would be populated.

I just open another browser window so one window has the main page that I'm browsing on and the other has my profile open with my decks.

Yeah. A another window I guess would be a good idea, but it wouldn't be as intuitive or easy and you would still need to open your profile and your deck.

vasarto77 Yeah the prep takes longer but 2 windows makes for easier copy/paste jobs so you type a lot less. What Femme is suggesting would be handy on mobile or if I just see a single card though.

Yeah while most of us seasoned PC users are just fine with using multiple browsers, as people become less and less used to computers and more and more used to phones this sort of process will become more and more unintuitive for people.

Obviously though there's only so much we can do to cater to mobile. Most modern sites simply don't implement the amount of features we do because they can't make it work for mobile, but this site is ancient so the two are going to have to be different.
