Shambling vents and Abzan Charm

Say I target an activated Shambling Vents with Abzan Charm giving it 2 +1/+1 counters. At EoT wouldn't the Shambling vents lose the counters due it no longer being a creature?

The same would be true if you cast a spell with Awaken, eg Ondu Rising targeting your manland (eg, Shambling Vent would be an Elemental 4/4 that taps for W/B, but if you paid 1WB, it would become a 6/7 with Lifelink.
Enchantments fall off if the target becomes invalid, +1/+1 counters do not.

Llanowar Reborn is a land that comes with a +1/+1 counter by default. Even if it doesn't have a chance to turn into a creature on it's own, it will have +1/+1 if it ever turns into one.
Earthen Arms lets you put +1/+1 counters on any permanent. You can have lands with +1/+1 counters, or enchantments, or artifacts or planeswalkers. Go wild.

Rules questions belong in the Q and A.
It'll turn into a land with counters but the counters will go ignored because it's no longer a creature. The next time you activate it to become a creature it'll matter
