If you live in california in lodi or stockton (or close to there), at the comic grapevine we're starting up EDH tournaments on tuesdays at 6. Entry is 5$, right now they're small tournaments, usually 8, 9 people, hence me getting to word out about it. We will also be creating a youtube channel to post videos of the matches and deck techs, I'll link that in this post for anybody who's interested. So if you're in the area and want a cool place to hang out, play magic, and possibly earn store credit, this is a great place, and we could use all the participants we can get.

Sounds awesome, wish we had something like that near ATL!

Does the entire entry fee go toward prize support (I'm halfway across the country, I'm more asking for those who would be interested but aren't tacky enough to ask the hard hitting questions.)

80% goes toward prize support, although the more people that come the higher that number goes. The people that play here are great and alan is the best comic store owner I've seen, hands down. Plus across the parking lot is a AMAZING gyro place, their lamb shwarma? God food right there.

It's ironic that you have "Avengers" in your name, then talk about lamb shwarma, when I watched that movie for like the fourth time this past saturday, and finally saw the shwarma scene, where the avengers were quietly eating their shwarma with faces of what appeared to be somewhere between disappointment and mild disgust. Except Thor. He probably wanted to smash the plate and ask for more after he was finished.
