Maulfist Revolutionary for Infect? (nvm, can't read)

Modern Deck Help forum

Seeing Maulfist Revolutionary's ability to double the counters on a permanent or person made me wonder if he could be used effectively in an infect deck. I put together this prototype deck, Maulfist Revolutionary Infect, which focuses on hitting the opponent on turn two with 1-5 infect counters and then using Maulfist to finish the game. I was just wondering if this seems like a viable strategy? Any ideas on other cards that would that would work well here?

It doesn't double the number of counters on a permanent or person.

For example, if someone has 3 +1/+1 counters and 1 poison counter on it you could give him 1 more +1/+1 counter or 1 more poison counter.

Seeing as proliferate has already been a mechanic for a very long time, no, that wouldnt be very viable at all

Oh darn, read it wrong. I guess it would need to say "for each kind of a counter" for what I was talking about. My bad.

It's alright. I do it all the time. It's because it says "for each kind" of counter and not "for each counter". If we're talking doubling Electrostatic Pummeler is the way to go.

Secondly, how do you get your answer selected for the selected answer. Does it show up anywhere on your profile to show that you answered questions correctly. Just wondering since I've answered two questions today and I've never before done something like this and I feel proud of myself! lol

That's alright! Me too! I've been on T/O for a little while now, but I've just started using the forums too. So I'm learning as I go!
