A little story about my release and the need for rules knowledge.

I'll put this in greentext format because it makes long stories easier to read.
Participating in the 2HG release
Partner has Morph.dec
I have Warriors.dec
Playing against mirror
Board is stalled out
None of us can attack without losing a massive chunk of boardstate
Have Hooting Mandrills in play
We are at 38 due to Abzan Battle Priest (Dead now)
They are at 3
Teammate draws Force Away
Stop my teammate from casting anything until I can whisper to him real fast about Trample
We swing
They don't double block the mandrils
Force Away their blocker
Trample rolls through and we win
Moral of the story, know your rules, have them in your head so that you don't miss opportunities like this one.
702.19c If an attacking creature with trample is blocked, but there are no creatures blocking it when damage is assigned, all its damage is assigned to the player or planeswalker its attacking.

We took a big gamble and it paid off huge but knowing the rules provided us with a huge advantage.
