After buying 37 packs and drawing no mythics I have finally beaten the streak! I went to my very first sunday night commander (first magic in public event ever) and I won my pod with my purphoros deck and I pulled an Elspeth in the one prize pack I got!!!! And then yesterday me and my bro bought a theros fat pack and I pulled an Elspeth in very first pack!!! He pulled an ashiok, and a medomai!!! 2 elspeths in a row! Yay!

Now I know exactly what I have ahead of me. After opening that foil Brimaz, I'll never open a playable Rare again until I'm 38.

I'm pulling a mythic almost every time I buy packs. Not always useful mythics though.

I'm convinced once players get to a certain experience level it's some kind of Divine Intervention that prevents them from pulling mythic rares...keeps the addiction strong.
